New Years Eve In Asheville
I kind of feel like a groupie now of Toubab Krewe.
Went to Asheville to see them play at the Orange Peel and had volunteered again to videotape.
Steven Heller, their producer asked me if I would also shoot the first nights performance which I agreed.
Both shows were fantastic and I had the best seat in the house.
Met lots of really good folks and had a blast both nights.
First night I was able to get Debbie, Joe, Tyler and Jessie in and NYE show, Lori, Pete, Sydney and Brook came out.
NYE they didn't start till 11:30ish and went for about 2.5 hours straight!
Hand held for that long is intense, but I tell you I wouldn't have had it any other way.
If you look close you can see me in the bottom left corner of the stage.
Being up close, on stage and grooving on TbK music was one of the best NYEves I've had in a long time!
Unfortunately I had to hand all footage over to Steven. Hope they get something decent from it.
