It's been a while since my last St Patty's Day. 25 years ago when I was 21 (YIKES) a tradition was started in 5-Points - the party of the year which I attended for many years. Then the big drunk fest got too insane for me.
Alas, this year The Teens wanted to go because several bands were playing that they wanted to see.
These unfortunatley for parentals are mostly headbangingish bands.
One of my favorite local bands...
Hot Lava Monster played first and the crowd was manageable at that point.
The Kudzu queens and their bodyguards were there.
The balcony was the best place to be.
The crowd got larger and larger and soon it was way too many people for my comfort.
Keeping up with the teens proved to be impossible.
We did stay till the bitter end though after spending a good bit of time just trying to find each other...
