Went to Isle of Palms to celebrate Danielle's birthday.
She's 40 and Amazing!
We were also celebrating Josh Roberts b-day.

Saw Cravon Melon at the Windjammer Fri. night. They were fantastic! Had never seen them before or really paid attention to their music until now. Danielle, Doug and Mac opened for them.



Mark Bryan also showed up and played a few songs.
Good times.


Seems like my blog is full of Danielle & Doug & Mac these days. I am just so impressed with their songwriting and singing talent.
We are fortunate to have them in SC and should support them as we can.
I guess being around them and hearing their music also feeds my secret fantasy of being a rock star!
(just kidding...i don't wanna be a rock star...it is a HARD life!)
I'll settle for listening and watching cause it is such a pleasure.

Olympia Festival

I'm excited about the upcoming Olympia Festival, April 19th.
I was happy to be involved with getting some of the talent for the day.
We are gonna feature some of the "Super Songwriters" of SC including: Danielle Howle, Doug Jones and Mac Leaphart.
They will be doing their own songs as well as playing as a band together.
Corner House and The Redbird Fiddlers along with Lucas War Hero will also perform.
A group of muscians I just met and have been rehearsing with will bring a little jazz to the stage.
They didn't have a name so after hearing a story about the mafia like cats in Tel Aviv Israel (2 of the guys are from Israel) we went with that for now....
Next Drummers will bring an element of West African percussion to the mix. We are a group of drummers that have been playing for several years mainly for our own pleasure but have a few pieces under our belts that kick butt!
Musically it will be a good time and a little something for everyone.

March Madness

March brings many things.
My daughters 16th birthday. She had 2 parties. 2 cakes. Ah to be 16.....I would not want to be there again.
